E' nuovo scontro tra Salvini e le ong. "La nave fuorilegge Lifeline è ora in acque di Malta, col suo carico di 239 immigrati. Per sicurezza di equipaggio e passeggeri abbiamo chiesto che Malta apra i porti. Chiaro che poi quella nave dovrà essere sequestrata, ed il suo equipaggio fermato. Mai più in mare a trafficare". Così in un tweet il ministro dell'Interno Matteo Salvini.

"La nostra nave batte bandiera olandese". A riferirlo in un tweet la Lifeline mostrando una conferma di registrazione che lo indica. Nel documento Amsterdam è il porto "di casa" e il 19 settembre 2017 la data di registrazione con scadenza il 19 settembre 2019. La ong ribadisce inoltre che l'intervento di ieri è avvenuto in acque internazionali. Intanto nella notte Lifeline ha fornito assistenza ad un mercantile che è intervenuto in soccorso ad un altro gommone in difficoltà . -
